Hello from wisconsin

I have been around for about a week and thought it was time for me to introduce me and Spike. I have had Spike for about 5 years and got him when he roughly 5 months, the pet store didn't have an "exact" date. And i shouldn't really say "got him" since he picked US out at the pet store. There was a tiel that whistling none stop. I went to pick that one up and of course he was scared and ran away, my mother went to try to pick him up and Spike jumped on her finger instead, and wouldn't get off. We walked around the store for a little while with spike on our shoulder and decided to take him home, and glad we did (He even picked out his own toys and cage). Bellow are two pictures, Sorry for the first being so blury. That is Spike eating corn out of our kettle within the first week. (We stopped him from that habit, after i took the picture). The second picture was taken about 5 mins. ago.

I know i love his coloring too, I have never seen one quiet like him before, that and He has one feather right towards the tail feathers, that i wish i could just pluck out, to me it is like a perfect coloring (that i wish would spread). I will try to see if he will stand still long enough to get a picture of it tomorrow. Also I know this will sound strange, and "bad parenting", I was never into the different variations, nor did the pet store know at the time, and now they out of business, so any ideas on what he is, i am thinking pied, but not sure.

I don't know what variation he is but he is one of the nicest looking I have seen. Thanks for sharing his pictures and for signing onto our little group.

Hi am about 20 mins. north of milwaukee, where are you guys from?
Also here is a picture of the feather that i want, I have never seen a feather quiet like that on any other bird. Not sure if you can see it, but it has yellow, white and grey all in one feather.
