Welcome to the forum. Parrotlets are great big bird personalities in a little bird body. I love them. It is one on my bird wish list but two is my limit so there will be no parrotlets in my future. Share stories about your little guy. I live vicariously through the experiences of other bird owners!

How long have you had her and what is her name? I am proudly owned by Petie, a little green boy. We have had him just 2 short weeks and he is fitting in beautifully. We are just starting to determine good ways to deal with biting. I tried laddering (having him step-up repeatedly) that didn't work very well. Now I look at him very sternly and say "no bite" in a firm voice (not yelling). He seems to get the message that I am displeased and we are having more success with less bites. Thank GOD! The ones to the throat are killers All that aside, he is a great addition to our family and I know you will feel the same about your girl!
