Hello, I'm new

Hi everyone. My name is Thea and I live in South Africa.

My b/f bought a pair of Petz Conures and a pair of Ringnecks. Both are established breeding pairs and hopefully the will settle down quickly enough to resume breeding.

I will post photos as soon as I can.

Thanks Marcia.

Here are some photos of our birds. The cages are temporary (thank goodness ). My b/f is still busy closing in the back courtyard so every evening we have to carry the cages into the garage and then out into the garden in the morning. As soon as the courtyard is closed in, my b/f will build new cages in the one corner and I will be able to finish setting up my container garden.

We got these birds from a guy who owned about three hundred or so breeding pairs. He sold off nearly all the birds and is only keeping his two pairs of Red African Grey. He said they are extremely rare so he will concentrate on them.

These are our Petz Conures. The female is the one hanging on the side of the cage. She can talk and has quite a lot of words in her vocabulary.

The next two photos are of the ringnecks.

This is the male. He is a Lacewing Split Blue.

The female is a Blue Rainbow Hen.

Welcome. Your birds are lovely. In America we call your Petz Conures... Half Moons. Congrats on your new babies.
