Greetings!

Name's Virag (or V for short), 26 yr old female owned by numerous critters. The newest addition being a rehomed, apparently year old blue female budgie. She was rehomed to me because apparently her, and another female started fighting over a male.

I'm a newb when it comes to birds, but from what I read it seems the cage was likely too small?

She's currently alone, and I'm working on making her feel welcome, safe, at home. I don't have pics yet as a) I'm slow at the obvious, and b) I didn't want to frighten her too early on!
The name she came with was Sky.

She shares a roof with two pit bulls, two cats, two rabbits, a hedgehog, a turtle, and fish.
(No, I have no idea why the trend is at two, but everyone in the house is spayed/neutered, or due to be when of appropriate age).

Here to learn as much as possible to give her as good a home as I can!

ETA - Forgot to mention - I'm a huge Sun Conure fan, but may be biased based on the one experience I had with one pet-store bird. I even caught myself visiting that pet store, which was out of my way, to visit with him. He was the first non-rescue (namely non-wild) bird I'd pet, that did everything to get my attention and to keep it. He was a real snuggler and an absolute comedian.
I decided I would love to have one, at the right time. They appear to require more attention/financial capacity than what I currently have. And I live in an apt, and to my understanding they're a little....loud? lol
So I certainly hope to learn more about that breed for down the road, should I again come across another "Phoenix" when I'm capable to give them a home.
