Hello Everyone,
I'd like to introduce myself and bird family. Yes, they are family. In our home everyone is equal. In our free flight Aviary, that doubles as my dining room we have two Cockatiels named Mr. Ras and Mrs. Li Li. They live with a Crimson Rosella named Corto. Because we do lots of research on teaching Budgies to speak, we have the living room area, near the computer, saved for the 4 Budgies that we are training. Fiore, Lollypop, Skittles, and Sky are all now speaking in full sentences. It's amazing! When they aren't in training, they can also fly around the Aviary. We are definitely a Zoo here, and have a lot of fun. When not training we listen to the other members of a Budgie Research Group. We heard that Bird Board was quite a nice group of bird owners. Because we are also interested in adding a parrot to our flock, we thought we could learn from others, here. Terri and Flock A Bird City |

Hello Chariclo,
The training program works great for Budgies and Cockatiels. I'm curious how it would work for a Macaw! We are here if you wish to know more. http://www.budgieresearch.homestead.com/ I'm on the Psittalinguistics committee. Here is my photo page. http://24.150.235.222:8080/23/654986...2547/0/prm/60/ A Macaw is one of my dreams. I've seen babies that are being raised. Terri Abirdcity Quote:
