Hello from sunny Florida

Hi there I'm John from central Florida (near Orlando). I'm new to the Bird Board and also a new bird owner. My wife and I recently purchased a 4 month old Umbrella Cockatoo ("Torrie" whom we believe to be a female) and also a 6 week old Yellow Naped Amazon ("Murry" whom we believe to be a male). We are still hand feeding both birds and having a great time learning about them. We always wanted birds but just never had the right situation until now. We have lots of animals and 4 children.

No I don't race at OSW I race dirt oval. I run a dirt late model at mostly Volusia county Speedway but some at East Bay Raceway in Tampa and all over Florida. Nice to meet you though and keep me up on your racing exploits. I love all kinds of racing.

Will do! I am not track ready, yet but we're working on it. The car should be complete before late Oct comes around (clutch, tires) and I am there!

I used to live in FL, and I am familiar with that Speedway. I raced over in Bradenton and used to do alot of track rentals. I think there is a dirt track next door to the drag strip too. I lived in West Palm for 12 yrs and left SFL 2 yrs ago.
