Baliey!

Hi my name is Fran, I just lost my parakeet Baliey 2 days ago, she was a very sweet bird, I loved her so much, she gave me back so much love in return, she got sick, I took her to the vet, but nothing could save her, she first had a bad crop infection then a month later she was on the bottom of her cage and draging her foot & wing, took her to the vet they ran an xray she had an inlarged liver, Dr. told me it must be a tumor pressing on the nerve, and that is why she cant walk, I took her home and took care of her, in the morning she was making scrating, it woke me up, so i gave her her medicine, and she would not take any water , i could see that she wanted me to kno it was her time to go, I told her I love her, and right before my eyes she died, I will never forget her, she will always be with me in my hear & my mind, Please enjoy your birds, I am very lucky to have had her in my life, she was there for me when I needed her last year when I had breast cancer,

Fran~ so sorry for your loss...I have many a time sat up loooooooong hours thru the night holding a feathered one knowing that any moment the 'Rainbow" was going to come to take them...Hang in there~ Your lil feathered one is now joined with oh so many feathered ones! I wish you ease in your time of loss & may you soon feel the comfort in the memories that remain! You have an awesome group of compassionate & genuinely caring support system out here ...so utilize what is right before your eyes! Take care~!
