New friend from Vegas!

I have a new Blue Budgie, female ( I think) called Little One.
Any tip's on training and health advice would be appreciated!
She's a quiet bird and finger trained after a week, so I think things are going well.
I now feed her seed but am trying to introduce the feed with pellets and other dried veg.
She seems to allow a limited ammount of touching and I realize parakeets/budgies are not allways relaxed anough to allow a tough other than finger perch, unlike bigger birds.
I would love to hear people experiences with their birds and I have a birdee-cam up from time to time on www.myvideochat.net/guruhelp
