hello all

i am new here and a keen bird watcher. I have seen a humming bird and would love to have one as a pet; the are too fast sadly.

Welcome aboard, sagat. We've got several other bird watchers here. Most people here seem to be busy with several parrots of their own. But I know I don't get to go bird watching as much as I'd like to!

Hummingbirds are amazing. But my personal favorites are birds of prey.

Welcome Sagat,

I, unfortunately, have never seen a humming bird in person. I know they're around here because my father has seen them in his back yard (he only lives 3 blocks away). I guess my first step would be to put out a humming bird feeder, huh? :-)

thanks, i used to see plenty of humming birds when i visited Ghana sometime ago. I was always amazed at the way they feed and flew; very fast forwards and backwards
