Fairly new bird owner

I own a beautiful mitred conure, I am interested in learning how to clip her wings but I would like to do this safely. Can anyone provide any information. My conure is 13 months old and very much a great personality. She says a few words I have taught her by being repetative. She does alway try to bite me every time I take her out of her cage. Its like she is trying to see if it is me or something this is a morning and nightly occurrance. I don't really want her to do this but she does. She doesnt try to bite down unless its not me. Then she tends to take a bite lol. what can I do about this.
