HI EVERYONE, I AM ALSO NEW HERE, AND DRASTICALLY NEED SOME HELP, I HAVE MANY LITTLE BIRDS, CANARIES, FINCHES, LOVEBIRD, AND 2 PARROLETS, EVERYONE HAS SEPARATE CAGES, ALSO AN ECCELETUS IN THE FRONT ROOM NAMED kiki, 1 Small cat, and 5 japanese chins, so ok now for my problem:
My poor little green parrolet, pocky is sick, her lower abdomen is distended, and she has never had an egg before, and her feathers are plucked, and now coming back slowly...she went to the vet the other day and they gave her a shot of baytril? and sent her home on antibiatics, she doesn't seem to be eating too good, she is very docile, but when she gets around blue my male parrolet, of course its all down for the count.... they have not mated, and i am always in my office with all the birds, i am very worried about her if any one out there can help me PLEASE LET ME KNOW, THANKS deenie ![]() |

What did the vet say was wrong with her? Why the Baytril?
