Hi everyone I am new to this site I joined up a few hours ago
I was surfing the net to find out if you can feed Radishes to your Ekkie's and stumbled upon here I read a few Post like it so much I Joined up I have a 11 month old Female Ekkie she is beautiful, she is a delight to my day. Chatter Box OMG she talks and talks so much. When I am home by my self she keeps me on the go...lol She loves her Showers and her blow dries She is so funny when I vacuum the house she seems to think its time for her to do the cleaning too; she hops into her water bowl and starts to clean her self! even if she has just had a shower...lol When I am sorting out the dishes to put in the Dishwasher she flies into the kitchen and perches herself on the hanging rack where I have utensils like tongs and cooking spoons and the cooking forks and what ever else I can hang up and she get hold of them an throws them at me...lol I shouldn’t laugh because they do hurt...lol

I hope to find out so much more about Ekkies as you never can know enough I will post so picture up later of when we first brought Scarlet home and of her Growing from a little babe to whom she is now....

Thanks so much. Yes I think she is just perfect:) her beak is so black a beautiful colour and her coat( Feathers ) shine like a gem she is :)

Hey!!! We have identical names! lol I signed up a couple of months ago in search of more ekkie education...(I don't own one, maybe one day :) )

By the way, I heard you should not blow dry your bird because there could be teflon in the blow dryer..something about a heated ring of it. Unless you've checked the box fully to be teflon free!
