Hello, my name is Marsha, we are in the Pacific NW. Vancouver, WA right across the river from Portland, OR.

We've had birds before and now we acquired a cockatiel, Tink. My granddaughter wants to get a budgie as Tink is very shy and won't interact with "girls". He's a male bonder. Loves the husband.

We are retired military, Fred was in the Coast Guard 31 years. Yes, we are foagies. I look forward to reading the forums. Marsha

Thank you for the welcome. We have 2 Australian Cattle Dogs, 2 kittens, a cat we got in TX and he has the attitude to go with it. The pup is a Jack Russell and If anyone out there can help me with him OH THANK YOU ahead of time. He's just got a couple of issues.

We are looking for a playmate for Tink but not sure if he's ready yet. We aren't interested in breeding but won't turn little one's away. We are also looking for a friend for my granddaughter. We think a parakeet would be the better route to go for a first bird. Sierra has a high form of Autism and I think this will be good for her as she has such a hard time with socialization skills.

She wanted a parrot but no way not for a first bird and I haven't won the lottery yet. Marsha
