hi everyone i have a 4mnth old hanh's macaw and have had him two weeks , the first few days he would not come near me, he now comes out of his cage and sits on my shoulder, but i can't get him to sit on my finger as soon has i put my hand near him he bites, once out of his cage he will not go back in, i take him to his cage and he just clings to me running from one shoulder to the other, it sometimes takes me 30mins to get him back in the cage has anyone got any advice ,he has a huge cage plenty of toys, he will happily stay out of his cage all day just sat on the couch or my shoulder nipping back for food now and again,

Sounds pretty much like your typical Hahns to me. They are fast, nippy and hard to catch. Perhaps Wendy Craig can offer some advice.
