Hi Everyone, I'm new!!

Hi, I am new and happy to of become a member of this board. My name is Meredith although most people call me Missy, either works perfectly fine. I am 25 years old and live in Maryland. I have two new babies coming soon, an Amazon and African Grey. I have been very busy preparing there cages and play area, so that everything is ready for there arrival.

I have always had smaller birds, although I do care for an African Grey for a friend when she is called away on business. I might have some questions in the future from time to time on the larger species. Anyway, I thought I would introduce myself, so I can get to know you all and become an active member on this board.

My Amazon is a Double Yellow Head female - according to the stories I have been getting from my breeder she is quite full of herself. My African grey is a Congo and the DNA test has not come back yet, but the breeder believes it to be female. They are coming from 2 different breeders and should be ready to come home around the same time. They are both on track and almost fully weaned and both breeders are thinking in about 2 weeks.
