Hi

Hi, I'm Maya...

I've been on this site for quite a while now and I thought I'd introduce myself so people would get to know me.

I am owned by two birds- A Lutino Cockatiel (Pineapple) and CAG (Mr. Tweedle toes or just Tweedles)
They are the sweetest little guys and have brought many joys and good times to our home, there is never a dull memt with them around.
Mr. Tweedles whistles all the time except when he sees the camera is on him, them he just won't do anything. He'll try to eat the camera though, lol. He plays a lot and he loves to acts silly and mumble. By next week or so I'll be able to determine he's age.

Pineapple plays in my room and whistles like there is no tomorrow. He loves playing with Tweedles and sometimes hags his food when he's not looking, they get along and he might be getting a partner during this week, depends on his behaviour. They'll both be getting toys too.

Those are my birdies, and they can do much more and will be doing much more in the future. My little babies...Tweedles can do the Foxy whistle.

Please check out my pofile for my info if you want or if you can.

Thank You...

P.S. BB is the greatest and the members are awesome and very helpful with lots of bird knowledge

Sumaiyah, I love your name. Do people call you Maya? I love the name Maya (hey I named my Amazon Maya!).

Welcome to the birdboard. How is the weather in South Africa this time of year? I live in Alaska USA, so we have pretty different climates.

Hi Dayna, Thank you, I'm glad you like my name... yes people do call me Maya. Cool, your Amazons' name is Maya.

The weather is quite chilly today. I love Alaska, I wish I could go there.
Is Dayna your real name? It's a very pretty name.

Thanks again Dayna

Maya, yes my name is Dayna. Most people here in the states spell it Dana. My parents felt creative and threw in the Y.

We just had a spring snow here yesterday, so it is still a bit chilly. The sun though is finally giving us some daylight! In the winter we have many hours of darkness and in the summertime many hours of daylight. Kinda confuses the birds a bit!

Hope to see you posting more on the board!

Dayna:
Sweet...it does look more creative with the 'Y'.

Welcome to the board, Maya! I have been to South Africa, I think it is awesome! I love the Kruger Nat Park and all the wild animals. I had a rental car and drove all over SA for a month in 1997. Would love to go back someday!

Thx, Tiki!

Cool, you've been here...S.A is pretty cool. the Kruger National Park is awesome, I love seeing the animals there.
I once went to a zoo (Can't remember the name) and I saw Max and Lisa the Gorillas. They are huge, I think Max died a couple of day after we visited. He was really sweet.

I loved the bird aviaries (Spelling?) They had all sorts of birds and my favourite, B&G Macaw, I even scratched their heads and they talked to me, that was sooo cool, specially the Scarlet Macaws.
Timone and Pumba were there too, lol.

Thanx again,
Maya
