Hello Everyone! My name is Nikki Farrenkopf and I am from Greenville, NC. I have one cat named Ozzy, that my husband and I rescued. Growing up I was around parrots alot, both of my grandfathers had parrots. One had a blue Macaw and the other has had a few different ones, I am not sure what they were. But last time I visited with my grandpa I talked to him about owning a parrot and he told me to find a rescue near where I live at. And I was doing some research and found this site.

I hope to learn about bird care and find out which bird species is right for our family.

Can't wait to here from all of you and learn about your experiences as bird owners.
