Hello St Croix USVI

Saturday I flew down from Omaha, Nebraska to join my husband on the island and was grateful the macaw and cockerspaniel made it on the same plane with all the changes. Whew! They came through to San Juan with no major mishaps and seemed to be doing well, but neither of them enjoyed the take off or landing on the water in the little (and I do mean little) seaborne plane to hop us from Puerto Rico, to St. Thomas and FINALLY to St Croix. I am hoping to find other bird lovers on the island so I can learn more about training CocoPuff.

Glad to hear everyone made the trip okay! It can be nerve wracking for all involved I'm sure. I know that the thought of flying in a comercial jet freaks me out (serious acrophobia!) ...I think they'd have to completely knock me out to get on one of those itty bitty "skeeter" planes! LOL!
