parrotlets are not a danger to other birds, other birds are dangerous for them because they are so small with so much attitude. welcome

I read about Parrolets, and in the BirdBoard, I thouoght I read they do not get along with some birds. Some owners of the Parrolets, on the Birdboard, said this. I did wat to adopt one, but I did not want to put my tiels in danger.

I am so sorry, about thinking that Parorlets were a danger. I am going to adopt him if he is still available. Thank you for letting me know. I did not know much about them, but I am going to be better informed. I will order a book on Parrolets, to see how to properly take care of him. I will send pictures of my sweeties soon.

Thank you everyone for welcoming me to the forum. I love this site, and don't know anyone who has any birds, but me. None in my family, until I has 2 clutches,I mean my tiels), but no one I know has birds, and when they find out how many I have, they can't believe, one would have that many. They are like potato chips, you have to have another.

you don't have to be sorry about anything. parrotlets can get themselves into trouble by picking a fight with a bigger bird and getting bitten by a bigger beak. there are people on the parrotlet forum on this site with much more info than myself. but again, welcome

I'm the same, don't know anyone else with a bird and all ny friends and family think I'm mad, that's why I love it on here so much. Everyone here understands the love a bird can inspire.
Blimey, that was deep for a friday night!!
