Introducing myself & Max!
Hi All,
I have a new Rainbow Lorikeet, about 8 months old. I've had him about three weeks now and am totally in love with him. He is quite a character with a very big personality. I got him a pretty big cage with lots of colorful toys and feed him Lory Life powder and water with occasional fruits and veggies. I also mix his food with unsweetened apple sauce which he loves. He loves to come out of his cage for play time and to cuddle on my shoulder and neck. He lives with a dog and two cats who also adore him. Glad to be on board and am sure I will learn a lot from all of you. Here is a pic of Max. -- Dennis

 wouldn't mind seeing more pics... always loved those lories, but never got around to one that would fit with my guys... and currently i'm under space limitations also

Welcome to BB! I love watching lorikeets. My uncle used to have a lorikeet (Lori) who used to say naughty words and used to sleep on the floor of the cage, imitating his dog! Sadly, she passed away.
