New to the flock
Hello my name is Jenni and about two and half years ago I decided I wanted another cockatiel...I ended up rescuing two. My two little pied toddlers, Beaker and Batty, came into my life. Then a lutino cockatiel and a cobalt blue budgie were abandoned by their "owners." Owners moved out and left the boys behind. Of course I couldn't say no so that is when Popcorn and Skye came into play. Almost two years later we rescued a little budgie named Chloe. Chloe was only with us for 10 days, but she opened the door for Mina...our newest addition. It is just the six of us...and for now that is exactly how we like it.
I look forward to getting to know some of you, and sharing tips and advice!

Thank you...yes the feather monsters are adorable. Mina is still in quarantine, but she has a clean bill of health from the vet and should be ready to meet the rest of the flock by the end of the week. We have started hand training..and well at least she doesn't flee from "the Hand" like it is Satan at this point. When she has been out and about (in my room only) she seems quite content to just go back to the cage when she is ready...now we will have to see what bad habits she learns from the boys.
