Hi! Just found this board!!
Looks like a great place to get back into the swing of having a bird baby!
My name is Terry, and last sunday I brought home as a gift from my husband, a Pacific Parrotlet. His name is Percy. Many years ago I was called the bird lady - when my children were young and I lived in a different town with a different husband! lol I had Conures (two - Toby and Emerys), a Cockatiel (Squeeky), a male singing Canary (Sunshine), and two parakeets (Stripe and Lila). My ex-husband got an African Grey (Greyson), that he asked me to name and I'm babysat quite a few times, and his newest, a Sun Conure (Cali). I'm here mainly to get info on the best care for my new little guy, and how to hand train him. Oh, we also have our own little zoo going - besides Percy we have Bella (a rabbit), Rocky (16 year old cat), Pumpernicle (teddy bear hamster), Pickles (dwarf hamster), Pesto (black and white common hamster), Persimmion (beta fish), Pasily (beta fish), Chris and Steve (tree frogs). Glad to be here!
