Sort of new...

Hi everyone! I've been quietly hanging around for a while and I finally decided to jump in. My name is Stacy. I'm married with 3 kids, 7 cats and 3 birds. We have a CAG, a cockatiel and a B&G. The grey and the macaw came to us from other homes and the tiel we got as a baby. Monte, the grey, was our first bird. He was given up by his previous owner because he was too loud. He's a lot quieter than my kids most days but I guess everyone has there own opinion on what "loud" is. Merly, the tiel, is only about 8 months old and she's the clown in the house. She's always doing something silly. Blue, the B&G, just came to us last month from a home where he lived in the basement and was fed a steady diet of wild bird seed and nothing else. He's doing great and transitioning well to zupreem pellets and plenty of fruits and veggies.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

I always find it funny how people think birds are loud. People always ask us when they hear how many and what types of birds we have if our home is loud and I always say yes, we have six year old twin boys but the birds are quiet! LOL
