I know it's crazy, but my flock will be expanding by 3 on Thursday. A lady called and said she has 3 'tiels (A long-together pair in one cage, single in another cage) and that she HAD to get rid of them NOW as she was starting new job and such and would have no time for them. Now, cockatiels I'm actually familiar with, tho it's been many years since I had one. I'm excited to get them because they are all adults and have had lots of human contact and quite a bit of training. I'm HOPING that working with them will help me in working with Sugar. (BE2). Anybody have any thoughts on that? I'm actually only going to keep the pair and when I go to my mom's for Thanksgiving, I'm going to take the single to her. The lady said the pair had had eggs before, but that they weren't fertile, so...I dunno. I would really rather they didn't breed, but wouldn't be so cruel as to deny them their mate, so...lol, we'll see! Anyway...as always, I appreciate all thoughts and ideas. I just want my flock to be a happy and healthy flock. And anybody know if 'keets n 'tiels n 'toos can all get along together? LOL Thanks again! Sissy |
