Hi - From a Pionus Breeder Nut!

Hi all - I have been well aware of this Bird Board but just never took the time to post here, but here I am. Its nice to be able to hopefully meet you all and you will find me in the Pionus Forum, no doubt! I am solely into Pionus, Amazons (2 Species) and some Macaws.

Hope I can meet some new Pionus enthusiasts here in the Pionus area!

Hi Jan. We have a beautiful blue head female Pi, whose name is Fern. When we bought her home a year ago she was originally named Fernando, before it was found out he was a she!! her name was changed to Fernanda, before we found out about her. We call her Fern. She's now 4 years old!! She has bonded with our son, and he can do anything to her. She simply "adores" him. I have to figure out how to post her picture. She's a beauty. She has the blue head with a ruby throat, mauve chest, blue & red tail feathers!! She's my hubby's baby. I have two tiels, and two keets as well. Along with the feathered babies, we have a Lab puppy. Life sure is exciting around here. P'ette
