New to the board!

Hi everyone, My name is christine and I'm new to the board. I'm the proud owner of a white cap pionus and also a proud new mother of a baby boy. I'm looking forward to meeting new people who have the same love for birds as I do. One question if anyone can help me. I'm having a slight problem with my pionus ever since the new baby has arrived..he's very jellous. Anyone have advice for me?

Welcome to Birdboard. Always nice to get another Canadian on board. I think we have about 10 Canadian members now, probably more. I have no conures, but many other folks do. It does sound like jealousy, so be very careful with him around your baby. After all, you are his entire world and he probably doesn't like sharing you with his new human brother. They aren't at all like dogs. They don't consider themselves our inferiors at all. In fact, I think they feel superior to us.
