Hey all :D
Hi guys, just registered on this forum :)
My name is Daniel and i just bought an eclectus parrot yesterday :D His name is ekkie and his only 5 months and he is male. He is hand tamed and lets me touch his beak and head. I currently go to uni and am studying applied physics, so i hope this bird can help me calm down from all the load. Anyways, im off to see what other things there are on this form :) Cheers all.

I was playing the keyboard earlier. And my ekkie was just staring at me, and everytime i started to do a soft melody he would just close his eyes as i would normally do when i hear something that gives me the shivers :)

Welcome Daniel and Ekkie! Just so you know, we LOVE baby pictures here, so be prepared to whip out the digi camera! Lots of good information on this board. Is your baby weened?

Daniel welcome to our forum. My next bird will be a male Ekkie Hopefully in the next year or so.. Can't wait to see pics!!!

yes he still is weened (Spoon fed?) i think thats what i means lol.
he only gets formula when he asks for it though, so he hasnt asked for it today. he just had parrot mix, mandarines, strwberries, and pawpaw. This guy only gets the best haha. So when he starts ekki talking (Crowing sound) Constantly, i whip it up for him. He finally talked today :D Ekkie HEllo! But know one was in the room hahaha, my mum was washing the dishes and when i called, she told me. I was so upset i didnt hear him :( I love this bird so much, with all my heart :)
