Talking Howdy from the Newbie

Hi.
I'm new, obviously.
I'm a proud Sun Conure owner (or slave) and my partner has a new green cheek conure.

If anybody can help us with any advice on hand rearing from a young age, it would be greatly appreciated. Our Green Cheek is only about 2 weeks old and I have been searching for some kind of weight guide to follow to make sure our baby is growing up big and strong.

This is our first time hand rearing so if you feel that there's something important I need to know, then don't hesitate to tell me.

Caitlyn

Caitlyn, Welcome to our forum. How did you come across a bird this young! Your breeder should of never let you take a baby so young. I can't really help as far as feedings but someone is sure to come along before to long.

If you also do a search you may come across some info as we..

Good luck Chris

Welcome. I would be working closely with a vet to ensure nothing goes wrong. My Wllow came to me at 2 weeks and she was my first parrot. (She came to the humane society where I workedand I fostered her.) Thank goodness my vet was knowledgeable and helpful.
