Hello from part of "Casino's" flock

I'm new to BirdBoard. Casino, my Lilac crowned Amazon has lived with our family for 5 years. I bought her from a private party that didn't know what kind of parrot she was. She was not used to any human touch. She now sits on my finger & shoulder & seems to enjoy interaction with me. I'd like ideas on how to play & interact with her more.

Hi Chris
I've got pics but I'm trying to get them on Bird Board. I'm not computer savvy, so bear with me. Robin

Hey Robin. I too have no experience with Amazons but it sounds like you have already done a lot just on instinct. Casino is a great name. Do you have any idea how old she is?

There are members who will be able to tell you how to post pictures. I'm not that technical but I'll try. I download my digital camera pictures to photobucket.com and then paste the image address in the message box. That seems to work. Sometimes I have to resize them. When I've edited a picture I've found I have to close photobucket and reopen it to get the picture to post with my edits.

You'll come across a lot of good people who will be able to give you more advice on training/bonding.

It's good having you out here with us.
