Wink Hello hello hello i'm a newbe here

I'm new here on the bord n would like to know how things work. I am also owed by a wife 2 inside cats 2 kittens(outside) and a not yet cherryhead! I've been owned by birds in the past and have many stories and now am owed again. Actually I bought the baby in Petland , for my wife. Hey she will have to handle it when I'm at work, I drive over the road. The little sweety went to her and will run to her if she comes over when I've got her out, doesn't normally happen that way! In the past Ive had Blue front Amazon, Blue Crested conure, Bebe Parrot(mybaby) Cherryhead, and a Green Cheek all at once all together in an apartment!! Well any way Hello to all

Good to meet you. The best of luck to you and your new cherry head. There's a baby in the bird store I hang out in and he is an awful cute little guy.

Did you ever think of taking a bird on the road with you or would it be too much to manage?

yes Tom I have thought about a bird on the road with me. I actually knew 2 drivers who had them. 1 had a bg and military n the other a cockatoo. drivers do have all manner of pets with themspecailly the long time out type like myself. don't think a bird would be to much work at all but pleasant distraction. my biggest worry would be temp control in winter monthes. trucks are a bit drafty. I have had a border collie with me. it got to be to much on him going for as long as i stay out n he would go into big depression when left home. wound up giving him to a family with 3 young kids, his favorite type, where he was /is very happyI was very attatched to him
