hello im kimberly
i don't think i had a moment to introduce myself when first joining birdboard.
in fact this site was quite useful when researching pet companion birds before any arrivals. (can you imagine such a time) i'm kimberly, i stay at home with my toddler, border colie named cujo, my loving hound olive branch, our 8 feathered housemates and an understanding hubby we're in the country in central ny raising our son on the land i grew up on. i have a 30 foot organic garden circle and wish to begin beekeeping i like to talk birds turns out im passionate about the unwanteds and wish to dedicate my home and sharing our love with each new family member, i have goals to switch gears towards foster/rehoming as i cannot adopt them all but wish to be more productive and always very interested in nutrition, enhancement and behaviour. i have adopted three quakers from separate but similiar tragic rehome and neglectful situations. quakers are loud and can be tough.. i chose a popular toss around with intent and cannot say whose live has been enhanced more its taken serious time and patience and positive reenforcement ill never say no to a bird that needs me but i wish to home an amazon next. ive been interested in finding an adult parrot to home for the simple fact that i can provide the remaining years of love and happiness. im accepting of behaviour problems because we all seem to have them in this house anyways...part of our happy chaos id like to do that for at least one needy parrot well thats us thanks for your time

Kimberly, welcome. I'm in Albany, New York. This past weekend I was in Worcester, Schenevus, and Summit. Are they anywhere near you or are you more in the Syracuse region? It sounds like you are doing wonderful things for the animals and people in your life.

thanks a bunch
we're in the syracuse area. we started off with the gifted pair of baby tiels and then i discovered bird classifieds and my passion for the forgotten and mistreated ive ran into opposition offering my help to the local community snooty patooti- i joke about being unwanted among the unwanteds i really enjoy the board, have learned plenty and look forward to establishing new friendships unfortunately iam unable to upload pics and view certain attachments but all in good time
