Newbie
Hello all, we are new to the board. As you can see "we" are Rio, Mija, Shelby and Emma. Oh yeah, Mom and me too.
We got the B&G 10 months ago and added the Ruby on Halloween. I met Rio when I walked into the bird store and he climbed over the 6 or so other babies to climb on my shoulder. He spent the next hour there as I surveyed the store and other birds. I took the wife with me the next day and when we entered the store, here he came. After spending another hour in the store with him cruising around on my shoulder, there was no way to leave without him. Soooo, after spending a small fortune we were on our way. Mija was the result of a trip for food. I picked her up and played with her, then handed her off to my wife. Mija layed her head on Lori's shoulder and snuggled in. It was all over after that. We have found a new respect for birds in general. I never knew how loving and personnable they could be. Some days you can't separate them and some days you can't put them together. Lot's of good information on this site and it seems like a lot of very helpful people. I look forward to many hours seeking and offering help and ideas.
