New to Board and Birds

Hello, Im new to the board and to birds, picked up my first bird today, a little budgie. Looking forward to learning alot from everyone.

Hi and welcome!! I just joined myself!! I would love to see pictures of your budgie! What is his/her name?

P.S. I used to live on Robbins AFB in Georgia when I was 7 - 8 1/2 years old. I was in Georgia last a couple years ago when I visited one of my best friends who was stationed at Fort Stewart. I visited her there twice, and each time we went into Savannah she took me to a pizza place called Vinny Van GoGo and it was the BEST pizza I've ever had in my life!! There's nowhere here in Hawaii that makes anything that comes even a foot close to being NY style pizza...

We named him durty (the dirty south) I will have to get a pic up. I'm very suprised that he seems content to perch on my finger so soon as I know he was not hand fed and expected it to be harder to tame. He's even chirpping a bit!

How is hawaii? I'm jealous!

Hawaii is good. I love Hawaii winter because the weather is nice and cool. It's home, but extremely expensive... probably the only major "downside" besides not being able to roadtrip.
