Smile African grey owner

I am new to the board. I am from the united states and i own a african grey parrot. His name is sterling and i adopted him four years ago when he was twelve years old. He loves to be out of his cage most of the day and loves lots of interaction and likes to be kept busy. I love him so much and it's been alot of work with the trust issue but it has been well worth it.i also pet-sit birds only for my birds vet and other people who own birds have contacted me also for sitting. Sterling seems to enjoy it and all the birds in my care are well taken care of. It's fun to see the birds pick up the sounds of each other and seeing all the different personalities of the birds has been fun. Sterling says fifty different words. Please tell me about your african grey parrots. I'm always researching everything about these birds and others. I'm also available for bird-sitting and have references if needed.:

Welcome to you and Sterling to the board.

You'll find heaps of grey stories in that species specific section.
