Hi everyone,
I am new to this board so I just wanted to introduce myself. I have a 3 year old lovebird named Kameko and she is a very sweet but hormonal hen. She is currently making herself a nest after my husband and I finally gave up trying to stop her from laying eggs. So we now have the fun task of watching our little bird vigourously make a nest which we always find hilarous. Hopefully this will stop her nesty behaviour for a little while when she is done. Generally she is a happy loving bird who isn't afraid of anything and loves climbing all over us and obviously getting into trouble.
Anyway, we are currently looking to expand our flock so i will keep you posted on that front.
I am looking forward to being on this board. Question though, are there many people here from British Columbia? And if so, anyone from outside of the lower mainland?

Hi! Welcome to Bird Board! This is a great place to learn and share information about birds. I bred lovebirds for years and kept as some as pets as well. I live in the US, so sorry about the being in your area part. If I can answer any questions you can private message me.
