Howdy From Kentucky!
Hello, all! My name is Gina and I am from the Greater Cincinnati area. I live in a studio with my two companions Jazzber, a year old female pearl cockatiel and Egan, an orange split tail betta. Now you would think they would be an odd couple but Jazz actually enjoys sitting on top of Eg's bowl and eyes him as he swims around and around. The only issue is discouraging her from wanting to drink the fish water. That's just plain icky.
There will be a third addition to the family come March. Back in early December I attended the Ohio Bird Fair here in Cincinnati and came across a fiesty little bird called a parrotlet. I immediately fell in love with them. Luckily, a breeder nearby had five fertile eggs. Well, it turns out four are blue females and one was a smaller green male. I've named him Dice and he's about five weeks old now. I can't wait to get him home. Though he will be a little scared at first, I know he'll be a riot to play with. I'm just hoping Jazzber won't be a sassy big sis to him.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Looks like Dice could be a boy OR a girl! Seems the baby boy parrotlet doesn't seem to be doing so well. :( So I could end up with one of his fiesty sisters. I'm hoping he'll perk up and make it.
