Hello from Michigan!

Hello everyone! This board was recommended to us by a friend who also has macaws, so we thought we'd check it out. I've loved all the info I've been reading so far....everyone seems so nice! I'm really excited to get to know this board! Our family consists of my husband and myself, our three children (8, 6, and 2), and our Green Wing, Darwin, who will turn 1 on Feb 7th! We are looking to add a Cockatiel as well, but we're having a hard time locating one in our area! I should edit to add: we also have a goldendoodle, Chauncey, three Persian cats, Oakley, Daisy, and Jack Pepper (our son named him LOL), and a baby Panther Chameleon, Alex. I didn't want them to feel bad! And no, if you are wondering, it's not as chaotic at our house as it may first sound ;)

My husband and I have always been animal lovers, and I had small birds growing up (a cockatiel, budgies, lovebirds). But Darwin is our first venture with the big guys, and it's so wonderful - and so different! I am trying to learn whatever I can about everything about them! Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and I really look forward to chatting with you guys!
