I love my birds, and am so happy to have found a site that provides such invaluable information. I have a beautiful green quaker parrot "Gabby" that is about 3 years old (and runs the household when you let him), and a lovely little scaley breasted lorikeet "Squirt" that I rescued as a baby as he/she (not sure which), is a runner.

Welcome Kylie! Nice to see another Aussie with a Quaker. I just got mine last week at the QLD State Bird Fair. Were you there? My little Chaska is a real sweetie! IT was funny, blue ones are double the price and supposed to be rarer, but most breeders had the blue ones, only one guy had normal green Quakers. Where exactly is Gatton?
