Hi Marilyn!! :D
I'm thrilled things are going so well for you and Stella!! I remember thinking a couple of days after Pogo arrived that my life would never be the same, and, I was right! Sounds like your a seasoned pro already. What a schmozzle trying to buy one of those harnesses, but a long story short is I finally found a company in Canada that distributes them. Cost me 34.99 plus 3 for shipping :D But it hasn't arrived yet. Apparently it will be here by the end of the week. It's supposed to be -10 tomorrow so I guess it will be a while before we are heading outside. Ample time for us to figure this thing out I guess. Keep in touch!!

Flight suits
I am also a new owner of a GCC... since about 6 weeks ago. I found info. online about a 'flight suit' that not only comes with a short 'leesh' but also it has a 'poop pouch'. You can use panty liners or makeup remover pads inside the suit.
I got one online from Petco, but it was a little too big for her, so I just got a size smaller for now. It took giving her time to see it, then be near it, feel it, etc. before putting it on. I didn't leave it on too long... like 5-10 minutes then tried to distract her from picking at it. Right now we've been buying puppy pads for when she's being played with so there is something disposable for her to poo on. She gives the sign of puffing up and lifting her tail to go... or she takes a short flight off you to the ground to go. I like the idea of the flight suit because it also doubles as a diaper, and seems less complicated to get on than a harness. They were about $25 each including shipping, and it's a nice rainbow color fabric that is soft and stretchy. It only has one 'connection' which is the velcro strip on the back..which is where the 'leesh' connects... sandwhiched between the 2 pieces of velcro. It's going to take time to get her used to having it on, but she's getting more active while out. I have thought already about getting some cloth baby diapers to put over my shoulder, although so far she hasn't gone there.
