New From Tupper Lake, NY
Hello,
My name is Shawn and I am new to the board. My family and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new Catalina Macaw. The baby is just over 4 weeks old right now and will be coming home at the end of May when fully weaned. The breeder will be socializing the bird with thier family members as well as with the dogs that they raise. Looking to read and learn as much as possible prior to the baby coming home. Shawn

Welcome! I spend tons of time near Tupper Lake in the summertime. Congrats on the new addition to your family! You can learn a lot of stuff on this board.

Welcome Shawn, I am upstate New York but not that far upstate. You are in beautiful country.
I love Catalina macaws. They are absolutely beautiful. It sounds like it is coming from a good breeder. You will have lots of fun. Keep us posted as his/her arrival approaches.

Welcome to birdboard! You must be so excited. Catalinas are such beautiful birds. They are one of my favorite macaws. I would really, really love to see pictures of your baby.
