Hi everyone,
Obviously I'm new here, but have been joined before actually. I previously had a budgie called Bunny, who spoke and was a cheeky little chappie. Unfortunately when we relocated to Ireland we could not bring him with us, no airline would fly him over. But that's another story.. If anyone is interested you can find his videos ON YOUTUBE HERE Anyway, I am thinking about getting a new bird, not sure if I want another budgie or something else yet. It took a while to get to the stage that i could have another. I thought this would be a good place to start to check out the different types again and get some tips, I'll be posting up some details later, but just wanted to say hi for now :) Michelle |

Welcome, and I had recently found out just how difficult that it would be to relocate my flock from Canada to the States, so needless to say they remained. Saddly I haven't gotten over not being able to bring them over to the states with costs and not to mention risk losing any of the as a result of being stressed out. I am glad that you have joined here, great members and very helpful to. I have currently a yellow sided conure, she is very pretty and is the apple of my eye. I purchased her from on the internet in the states, she has a problem with her foot so she remainded with the hobbie breeder for a longer period of time. I blessed to have such a wonderful gentle baby to make my new home complete here in the States. Good luck and all feather babies make great pets, just make sure that you follow your gut feeling and you will do just fine.

tabooh - sorry to hear that you also couldn;t bring your flock with you when relocating, it really hurts. The airlines told me a budgies little heart couldn;t take the 5 hour flight and they couldn;t fly him as they couldn;t guarantee his safety, so he went to our friends there.
thanks again for all the lovely welcomes :) |
