Smile Newbie here to say Hello!
Hi everyone!

I'm Delilah. I just adopted/ rescued a love bird. His owner passed away and I have owned a lovebird in the past so I offered to take him. I was told that he was not exactly taken care of properly in the last few years. He was "taken care of physically" but not socially. So he was not held, no toys, etc...

When I picked him up he literally only had 1 bell in his cage. Poor thing.

Anyways, I'm glad I found this board! Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly!

Well, I love to read about people taking in birds and giving them better than what they had. Yeah! Lovebirds are beautiful, enjoy yours and post pics!
