Hello, Bird Board! (GC conure and parrotlet mom))
Just wanted to say hi! I have a 12-year-old GCC named Rio and a newly adopted blue Pacific parrotlet named Beep! Beep is a 6-year-old retired breeder and he was the perfect fit for our home. He is so tiny, and my first ever parrotlet, so I joined Bird Baord to learn how I can give him the best home possible.

welcome - a 12yr old gcc? that's probably one of the older gentlemen/ladies we got here om BB... makes me realize that valo's still a youngster being 3yrs.

Really? I didn't realize 12 was old for a GCC. I had a couple budgies that made it to 10 or so, and I hope Rio and I will have a long time together still. He is a wonderful little bird. He just had his physical, including a full blood panel, and he is healthy and happy. He talks and loves to dance!
