hello ^_^
Hey, i'm new here ^_^
I just got the cuuuutest eclectus parrot ever lol... I've had him for 4 days now and absolutely adore him. He has a really sociable personality and doesnt take as long as a lot of eccys to get comfortable with new things. He always wants to be with me, its so cute i'll get home and he does this jumpy thing in this cage, and i open the cage and he leaps onto my arm ^_^ He just flew without crashing into things for the first time this morning YAY  He already lets me touch him everywhere without biting, He even lets me preen the top of his head (infact he loves it hehe) Heres a photo of him after his first shower and a photo of him sitting on my leg after I brought him home ^_^. Theres a photo in my signature of me cuddling him too hehe..

Oh, he looks so much like my guy. What subspecies is he? Believe it or not you are going to grow even more in love with him as time goes. My boy will be 3 next month and is still my little sweetie pie. There's nothing like the love of a male ekkie. Congrats!!!

he's a red sided eccy ^_^ he weighs nearly 600grams now; and apparently will get heavier haha.. his parents are MASSIVE and gorgous lol..
I just wish he would eat his food instead of throwing half of it everywhere ^_^ It only took him 4 minutes on his very first day home to learn 'turn around'. He is soo eager to get out of his cage all the time.. He's a sweetie ^_^

Jasper is a smart guy! He is a big boy! 600 gm already! Wow! I thought he was a red sided. He looks so much like my red sided but bigger.

Yeah, he was already nearly as big as his parents at about 9 weeks old, he'll probably fill out more too lol...
He talks in his sleep hehe it's hilarious... My hands and arms.. are covered... in scratches from his claws lol. He let me put his flight harness on today with the help of a few sunflower seeds ^_^ OOOWWWWWW he just broke a nail in my finger ow ow ow.. i need some gloves *sucks finger* the scratched hands are soo worth it though
