Hello from Texas

I'm new here but not new to birds. I have had birds almost my whole life. I currently have a 10 year old male parrotlet (Mario) and an 8 year old male lovebird (Marlin). I adopted them two years ago from an elderly lady who could no longer care for them due to her health. They are both very sweet boys. I have come across someone that got two greenwing macaws from someone that was moving and they can't keep them due to their kids. I am considering getting these two but I'm thinking it over a lot because I don't have experience with large birds. Anyway, that's a little bit about me. I'm here to find out a little bit about greenwings to find out if I can handle the big guys.

Hi, Welcome to birdboard. Your birds have cute names. Are you comfortable handling big birds? Have you handled any? Are you willing to dedicate the time, work, and money into the green wings? If the answers are yes, I would at least meet the birds.

Thanks guys. Their names when they came to me were marylin and mauricio so the names had to change.
