Help in finding band id breeder
Hi Everyone
I am new to this fantastic site.. I have a double yellow amazon parrot (Sunshine) for many years now, what a delightful treat.. Sunshine is presently in Denver CO with her dad and we came from Key West FL. I am in Canada taking care of my ailing parents and my husband needs to get my little baby girl to me... in Canada, I am trying to apply for her passport... You can tell I am very attached to her.. I will be flying home to get her, however I am trying to track down the breeder in FL I have all that info together now and I can now say I am nearly a pro after several attempts to get all her papers together. I am trying to finish her papers , however I cannot remember the name of the breeder... as she was given to me as a birthday gift.. Band ID FL 55 -- She has a band on her leg.. How can I find the breeder?? Does anyone know?? Thank you so much in advance Gertskirt@aol.com |

With that band ID it is probably impossible. FL IDs the state. The number is a reference for the breeder. Many breeders also include the year and letters to stand for their aviary. However, yours does not. If the band is a closed band then you are guaranteed that your bird is captive bred. Sorry. That is all that I know about this band.
