Hi, I just realized I've posted a couple of times but never formally introduced myself. I'm from Maryland and have had birds for many years. I have three hookbills: an amazon, a cockatiel and a green cheeked conure. This is a very nice discussion board, I am happy to have found it!!!

Yes, near the Chesapeake Bay. Plus, the whole parrot - pirate thing...the name seemed to fit him.

Cool name. I love that area - used to live in Easport, loved the smell of the salt in the air!
