Hello from VA!
Hello =)
My name's Nicole I'm from Virginia and I'm the caregiver of three cockatiels tomato, sookie, and Delilah. I also have wonderful cat Charlie. My companion animals are the best part of my life for sure. I've actually been browsing this site for a while getting foraging ideas, play gym ideas, est. Any ways just wanted to introduce myself and my girls=) This is Delilah. I adopted her from a lady who saved her from being attacked by crows. She was fed only millet so that's why she looks a bit hefty, but all my girls are on roudybush now. She is very very cuddly and I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm her mate =/ Here she is forever trying to free my lashes from the mascara that she so despises hehe. ![]() Here's sookie<3 This is when I first adopted her and tomato. I hadn't made a play gym on top of their cage yet. This is one of the first times she had ever been out of a cage. The shelter got Sookie and Tomato from a hoarder situation and Sookie (whom the vet thinks is a senior bird) was never out of a cage. Ever. Of course now the only time she's in a cage is at night =). I'll post recent pictures soon so you can see how happy she is now =) ![]() Last but not least is Tomato. She's my little Indiana Jones. She must have been around larger parrots before I got her because she doesn't really act like a cockatiel at all. She eats with her feet, and taught herself how to open her flight cage! Here she is trying to eat noodles haha ![]() And here's my handsome Charlie. Who puts up with the girls so well and has absolutely no interest in eating them (although I still watch him closely). Best cat ever
