Talking Hello from WA!

Hello! I started another thread in the help forum, but thought I should probably write a proper introduction.

Currently I am living at home, going to college, and looking for work. Yay, for the unemployed... We have previously owned cocketiels and love birds, though I don't remember most of them. However, when I was in elementary school one of our cocketiels developed a bond with me that I'll never understand. He was a one person bird, and I was that person. As a result I am partial to cocketiels. Unfortunately when we moved to a smaller home, my parents took him to the animal shelter. I never heard from him again. Then about three years ago a beautiful white cocketiel found our neighbor's roof, and we took him in. I felt like I had my Pete back. I took the best care of him, and he was very spoiled. Then I started going to school and I didn't have as much time for him anymore. So we found a wonderful home for him. I would have been selfish to keep him, but I felt like I had a chance to say goodbye to Pete.

Now all my bird friends live in the trees, and I never know who I will see next. I love all flying animals, including bats. Anywho, that was probably TMI huh?
