Hello from Texas!

Hi everyone! My name is Lori.

I found this board when I had a bird health question and couldn't get an answer. I browsed around and I really like it here. It has been a long time since I have been part of a birdie message board, I miss it.

My family consists of 3 cats, 3 dogs, 8 budgies, 3 cockatiels, 1 yellow sided green cheek conure and amazing green quaker :D We are split up between two houses currently but they are all my babies.

My quakers name is Dunkin and is MY baby! He is a year and a half. He started talking early but has not learned too many phrases but he can sound just like a budgie or cockatiel, even at the same sound level, very confusing! He also says "I love you" "Good Boy" "Duuunnkiiiin" "hey baby!" and laughs like crazy. Oh and he has a silly Texas accent :D He has a very special place in my heart. I lost him to him walking out the door when he was younger. I somehow got him back when he was found.. It's a long story for my introduction but that bird has changed my life!

I hope to learn lots and help when I can.
